MAN STABBED IN BACK DURING ROW AT HOUSE IN SEASIDE TOWN

DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing  incident in a seaside town.

The knife attack happened in the Cannyreagh Road area of Donaghadee, Co Down, during the early hours of this morning.

At around 4.15am police received a report that some form of altercation was taking place at a house on the road.

A 22 year old male sustained a stab wound to his back and was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

A second male, also aged 22, was taken to hospital for treatment for a head injury that is not believed to be life threatening.

A 19 year old male, 25 year old female and both injured males have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences.

Police are working to establish the circumstances of the incident and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist the investigation to Detectives in Bangor Police Station on 101 quoting reference 358 08/04/18.
