POLICE and other emergency services are currently at the scene of a murder bid shooting incident.

It happened at a house in the Glenbawn Avenue area of west Belfast this evening.

Police received the report shortly before 8 pm that a man had been shot.

It is understood the victim, who was in his 20s, was blasted in the chest with a shotgun.

There are no further details at this time.
