THREE CHARGED OVER ‘ROGUE TRADE’ FRAUD RACKET

POLICE say they have smashed a ‘rogue trading’ fraud racket.

As a result, officer arrested and charged three men aged 24, 25 and 26 on a number of offences including engaging in an aggressive commercial practice, possession of articles for use in fraud and fraud by false representation.

They are due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court on Tuesda, March 6.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The arrests and charges are in relation to rogue trading activity and fraud offences in West Winds area of Newtownards area yesterday, Wednesda, February 7.
