‘THE UNTOUCHABLES’ ARREST MAN IN EAST BELFAST OVER DRUG DEALING

‘THE Untouchables’ have arrested a man as part of a probe in loyalist drug dealing.

The PSNI say Officers from the Paramilitary Crime Taskforce arrested a 24 year old man in east Belfast on Tuesday, January 9.

He was detained under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, possession of class A drugs and breach of bail conditions.

The man is currently in custody assisting officers with their enquiries. 

The PSNI, HM Revenue & Customs and the National Crime Agency set up the the Paramilitary Crime Taskforce last year to tackle criminality linked to paramilitarism.
