POLICE in east Belfast have charged a 35 year old woman with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a class A controlled drug.
She is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday 8th January.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
The charges are in relation to an incident at an apartment in the Newtownards Road area at around 1.50am on Sunday 7th January.
A man was taken to hospital with ‘puncture wounds’ in the early hours of Sunday morning, police said.
