MAN CHARGED OVER BRITAIN FIRST HATE SPEECH RALLY IN BELFAST

DETECTIVES have charged a 55 year old man over a Britain First hate speech rally in Belfast.

He was arrested this morning by Merseyside Police in Liverpool and flown back to Belfast for questioning.

AFter being held in the PACE custody suite, he has now been charged with using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour.

He will face Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday, January 17,2018

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges are in relation to speeches made at the Northern Ireland Against Terrorism Rally on Sunday 6th August this year.
