POLICE say that a suspect wanted over a south Belfast burglary spree on shops has been arrested.

Officers from the PSNI’s Crime Support Team investigating burglaries at commercial premises and a burglary at residential premises in Belfast in September of this year have arrested a 35 year old man.

A large quantity of clothing was stolen from premises in the Lisburn Road area.

He is currently being questioned the PACE custody suite at Musgrave PSNI station in central Belfast.
