MAN TO FACE COURT OVER DRUG DEALING AND DIRTY CASH PROBE

Man to appear in court charged with drug dealing and dirty cash offences

A 27-year-old man has been charged with a number of drugs and immigration offences including possession of a Class B drug, intent to supply, possession of criminal property and failing to leave the UK.

 It follows a  joint operation between the PSNI and Home Office Immigration.

 He is  expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow, 3 November.

 As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

 Detective Chief Inspector David Henderson, of the Organised Crime Branch, said: “This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to tackling the scourge of drugs in our society.

“ We would encourage anyone with information which may assist police in combatting the sale and distribution of illegal drugs to contact police on 101.
