THREE PENSIONERS CHARGED OVER £250,000 DRUGS BUST

Three pensioners have been charged to court over a £250,000 cannabis drugs bust

DETECTIVES from the PSNi’s Criminal Investigation Branch have charged two men aged 62 & 74, and a woman aged 64 with a number of drugs trafficking offences.

All three are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow,Wednesday, August 9 for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

The charges relate to arrests in Enniskillen and the Donegall Road area of Belfast yesterday, Monday, August 7.

A total of £250,000 worth of cannabis resin was seized at two addresses during an intelligence-led operation by CIB.
