JET2.COM is giving skiers across Northern Ireland a piste of the action, by reintroducing ski flights for Winter 2017/18 from Belfast International Airport.
The leading leisure airline will fly direct from Belfast International to Salzburg and, for the first time, Verona this winter.
The two exclusive routes mark the reintroduction of ski flights from Belfast International, as well as the continued expansion of Jet2.com at the airport.
The addition of weekly Saturday flights to both destinations expands Jet2.com’s biggest ever winter programme even further, with almost 70,000 seats on sale this winter.
Salzburg, gateway to the famous Austrian Alps, provides access to a range of world-class ski resorts that suit skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.
Connecting to almost 350 ski resorts including Kaprun, Mayrhofen and Obertauern, shredding the slopes of the Austrian Alps is a rite of passage for any skier whether you are a beginner or an expert, and the addition of weekly flights to Salzburg means skiers can now grab that chance.
The introduction of ski flights to Verona opens up more than 150 fabulous ski resorts in the breathtaking Dolomite Mountains.
These resorts include Selva, Val Gardena, Arabba and Passo Tonale, offering thousands of kilometres of incredible slopes as well as unforgettable scenery.
Val Gardena alone, synonymous with the mystical Sella Ronda circuit, has 175km of pistes to explore.
The resort is also part of the wider “Dolomiti Superki”, the biggest ‘ski carousel’ in the Alps with over 1,200km of slopes that skiers of all levels can enjoy.
Both destinations are exclusive to Jet2.com from Belfast International, and will fly from December 30 (Salzburg) and January 6 (Verona) until the end of March.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “We are delighted to be opening up these fantastic ski destinations to ski and snowsports fans from Northern Ireland and further afield.
“With perfectly-timed weekend flights to Salzburg and Verona, we are giving skiers exclusive access to some of the very best ski and snow resorts in all of Europe from Belfast International.”
Belfast International Airport managing director Graham Keddie said:
“It’s fantastic to see Jet2.com continue their recent expansion drive from Belfast showing their commitment to the Northern Ireland market and strengthening their winter programme whilst ensuring maximum choice for local ski customers”
