SOUTH BELFAST FAST FOOD TAKEAWAY GUTTED IN DEAD OF NIGHT FIRE

DETECTIVES are investigating a fire at a fast food takeaway restaurant in south Belfast.

The blaze was reported at around 2.15 amĀ at the junction of the Donegall Road and Donegall Avenue.

A Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said three fire engines attended the scene.

It is understood that no-one was inside the building at the time.

Detectives are now looking to see if the fire was started accidentally or deliberate.
