A 26 year old man has been charged with a number of drugs offences after smashed a drug smuggling plot in the post.

He has been charged with importing a controlled drug, attempting to possess controlled drugs with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of drugs

As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges follow the seizure of Class A drugs with a street value in the region of £2,000 and a quantity of prescription drugs during searches at two properties in the Enniskillen area yesterday.

Prescription medication with an estimated street value of £7,000 was also intercepted in the postal system and seized by police.
