Police and Army Technical Officers are at the scene of a security alert in west Belfast tonight.

It follows the discovery of a suspect device the Horn Drive area yards from the Woodburn PSNI station.

A controlled explosion has been carried out the device by an ATO robot.

It is understood the device was fitted with a timer unit.
