THREE men, aged 31, 31 and 27, are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning, charged over a creeper burglary.
The charges are in relation to an incident in the Lisburn area.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
At around 9 pm on Sunday police were called to a creeper-style burglary in Laurel Hill Road.
A black Volkeswagen Golf was taken after a house was broken into and its keys taken.
Police immediately circulated a description of the car to all patrols in the area and the police helicopter.
A short time later the Golf was located at Ballycolin Road with the engine off and nobody about.
Nearby a Ford Mondeo was stopped by police and, with the help of the helicopter and a police dog, the four people were arrested.
The three men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of burglary. The woman was later released without charge.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact officers.
