Suspects held at Musgrave PSNI station into terrorism probe

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit (TIU) arrested two men this morning as part of a probe into terrorism.

Superintendent Norman Haslett said: “Detectives carried out a number of searches in the Beechmount Close area of west Belfast at around 11 am this morning, Sunday 11 June.

“Two men, aged 27 and 29 were arrested under the Terrorism Act.

“A number of items were taken away for further examination.”

Both me have been taken to the serious crime custody suite at Musgrave PSNI station for questioning.
