THE elderly couple found stabbed to death in their home last month will be buried later this week.

Michael and Majorie Cawdery – both aged 83 – were found dead at their Portadown home on Friday, May 27 by their daughter and son-in-law.

A 40-year-old has been in court charged with their murder.

Thomas Scott McEntee, of Moorfield Court, Kilkeel was remanded in custody.

A funeral service will be held in Portadown this Thursday, June 8 for Mr and Mrs Cawdery.

It will be held at Drumcree Parish Church at 2 pm, with a private committal to follow.
