DETECTIVES have charged a 28-year-old man with the brutal murder of Colin Horner last weekend.
The 35-year-old was shot in a supermarket car park in front of his three-year-old son at Balloo Link, Bangor, on Sunday afternoon.
A senior detective described his murder as “brutal, senseless and horrendous”.
The man has also been charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life.
He is to appear in court in Newtownards Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning.
Detectives believe his murder was as a result of an internal feud with the UDA in south east Antrim.
