LEADING drinks company, Boost, is celebrating its continued success in Northern Ireland with the introduction of a limited edition flavour for the summer festival season.
With a massive 11.2M units sold in Northern Ireland in 2016 alone, Boost continues to lead the way in the convenience sector and is confident that its latest product will fly off the shelves.
Simon Gray, Founder and Managing Director of Boost Drinks said: “We’re very excited about the launch of our new sugar-free Pomberri Blast flavour and if this week’s weather is anything to go by, Northern Ireland consumers can enjoy it as a perfect accompaniment to the sunshine.
“It promises to get people into the Summer festival spirit as it infuses pomegranate and blackberry into one sugar-free flavoursome Boost and only has 10 calories.
“Investing in new product development is a key part of our Champion of the Independents commitment, whereby we do not sell to or through supermarkets.
“Our range of Boost products are sold in all independent retailers throughout Northern Ireland and we pride the fact that we continue to roll out fresh, new flavours to ensure support of our local customer base.
“Sugar-free energy drink sales are growing at 47% year on year*, and blueberry and pomegranate as flavours are out-performing the market**, so we are confident that this new flavour is going to have a huge appeal to the Northern Ireland market,” Simon continued.
Boost’s latest release will mark the start of #BOOSTIVAL, two weeks of social content and competitions to celebrate the new flavour with NI consumers having the chance to win Ticketmaster vouchers, festival kits and even have their favourite festival memory drawn by a popular Twitter artist.
