BREAKING NEWS…FRESH ARREST IN UDA GEORDIE GILMORE MURDER

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit have made a fresh arrest over a UDA feud murder.

Police say a 38-year-old man was arrested this morning over the murder of UDA rival boss Geordie Gilmore.

The suspect was detained in Carrickfergus under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act.

He has been taken to the serious crime suite in Musgrave PSNI station in Belfast for questioning.

Gilmore was shot dead last month as he drove his white Vauxhall Insignia car along Pinewood Avenue in Carrickfergus on Monday afternoon, March 13.

Up to a dozen people have now been arrested over the daylight gangland style execution.
