POLICE are investigating after a man was forced from his car in a hijacking in Belfast city centre.

Two men pulled the man out of his black Suzuki car as he drove along Adelaide Park at around 5.30 pm on Sunday.

The PSNI say the thieves made off in the direction of the Lisburn Road in the car.

It was later found at the nearby Pembroke Loop Road in the west of the city.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 914 of 19/2/2017.
