A PENSIONER is to face a court this morning on robbery offences.

The 70-year-old man has been charged with a number of robberies and theft in connection with incidents in east Belfast.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
