DETECTIVES are investigating after an armed and masked gang tied up and robbed a woman during an aggravated burglary in north Belfast.
It happened in the Coolmoyne Park area of between 5pm and 6pm on Monday, December 19.
Police said that some time between 5 pm and 6 pm three masked men, one of whom was believed to be carrying a gun, entered the house in the area and tied up the female occupant.
The woman was not injured but was left shaken.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “They ransacked a number of rooms before making off from the scene in the woman’s car, a Vauxhall Agila with a quantity of cash and items of jewellery.
“The Vauxhall Agila, registration number FFZ 6896, has not yet been recovered, “police said.
