A 22-year-old man is due to appear in court following an armed robbery of an off-licence in south Belfast.

He has been charged with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, and threats to kill.

He’s due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 2.

The charges relate to an armed robbery on the Ormeau Road at around 10 pm on Friday night.
