DETECTIVES are hunting masked men broke into a house in north Belfast last night and threatened a young woman with a knife.

The PSNI say the aggravated burglary took place in the Thorndale Avenue area.

The woman was fortunatelynot injured in the incident.

Detective Constable Craig Burns said: “I would appeal to anyone who knows anything about this incident, or who saw anything suspicious in the area, to contact detectives at Musgrave Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1054, of 06/12/16”.
