A man is to face a court this morning on charges linked to a drugs seizure.

The 30-year-old was detained in Warrenpoint, Co Down town on Tuesday evening.

The arrest came after Gardaí seized £100,000 worth of suspected herbal cannabis just over the border in the Republic.

The man is due before Newry Magistrates’ Court this morning for a first remand hearing.
