NINE-YEAR-OLD BOY HIT BY SCRAMBLER STABLE IN CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Royal Victoria HospitalPOLICE have launched an investigation after a nine-year-old boy has been hit by a scrambler bike in Newtownabbey.

He was struck by the bike at Mossley Pavilion, Carnmoney Road last night at around 8.45 pm.

The boy was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children for treatment.

He is in a stable condition.

Police are investigating the incident.

Officers have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on on 101 quoting the reference number 1309 03/10/2016.
