MAN IN HIS 60s STRUCK BY LORRY IN BELFAST CITY CENTRE DIES

police scene pic new1POLICE have launched an investigation after a man in his 60s died after he was struck by a lorry near Belfast city centre yesterday.

It happened near the junction of Brougham Street at around 3.10 pm.

Dock Street was closed between Brougham Street and Garmoyle Street following the incident.

Diversions were put in place but the road has now reopened.

Police have appealed for anyone with information about the accident to contact them on the 101 number.
