POLICE say one person has been left seriously injured following a serious one-vehicle crash.

The crash happened at around 4.50 pm on Saturday afternoon on the Dunover Road in Ballywalter, Co Down.

The extent of the person’s injuries is not yet known.

The road was closed in both directions while police examined the scene.
