NORTHERN Ireland shopping centre CastleCourt and local security company Mercury Security Management have been named the BEST SECURITY TEAM in the United Kingdom and Ireland at a prestigious industry awards ceremony n London.
The SCEPTRE Awards are the ‘Oscars’ of the shopping centre industry and recognise the best practice and the best people throughout Britain and Ireland, putting the spotlight on management teams, retailers and suppliers that demonstrate real excellence.
At the prestigious ceremony in London’s Dorchester Hotel, the collaboration between CastleCourt and Mercury beat off all competitors to win the Best Security Team award for the second time in four years. Judges praised CastleCourt for achieving “great results in a challenging environment”.
Highly commended in the category were The Galleries Shopping Centre in Washington, Tyne and Wear, and Cwmbran Shopping Centre, the second biggest centre in Wales.
