POLICE PROBING PARAMILITARY PUNISHMENT SHOOTINGS IN BELFAST

Police sceneDETECTIVES are investigating two separate paramilitary style shootings in Belfast last night.

A man in his 30s was shot near St Kieran’s Primary School in Poleglass on Wednesday night.

He was treated in hospital for his injuries and later discharged himself.

In another attack, a man in his 30s was attacked in north Belfast

It happened at Cranbrook Gardens last night.

He was dragged from his home by a number of men and shot in the feet.

But the bullets failed to penetrate the man’s footwear and he was taken to hospital with minor injuries to his feet.
