DETECTIVES have charged a 51-year-old man with attempted murder over a paramilitary-style shooting in north Belfast.
The gun attack happened on Monday, May 9.
A man was shot a number of times in an alleyway between Sheridan Street and Donore Court, off the Antrim Road, at around 1 am.
He was taken to hospital but his injuries were not life-threatening.
Police arrested the man in the greater Belfast area on Thursday.
As well as being charged with attempted murder, the suspect has also been charged with carrying a firearm with intent.
He will appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning, Saturday, May 14.
