AN investigation is underway after a man in his 50s died and five others hospitalised following after a serious three-vehicle crash.

The crash happened on the Collin Road in Tildarg near Ballyclare, Co Antrim on Monday evening.

Two of those who are injured are critically ill in the Royal Victoria Hospital in west Belfast.

The police said that the Collin Road is closed at its junction with Braepark Road.

The PSNI’s Collision Investigation Branch is examining the scene.
