COPS are jubilant after disrupting a suspected crime gang in west Belfast.
Police seized suspected cannabis resin and grinders when they searched three properties in west Belfast in an intelligence-led operation.
Also seized were around 300 non-prescription tablets and a stun gun.
A total of four males – aged, 42, 32, 24 and 37 – were arrested under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act for a number of drugs related offences, including possession and intent to supply class A and class B drugs.
They were also arrested under the Firearms (NI) Order for having a stun gun without the lawful authority of the Secretary of State.
A security source told Belfast Daily: “The chiefs are well pleased with the results of this operation.
“We have taken a dangerous weapon off the streets and drugs.”
Inspector Mike White said enquiries are ongoing and appealed for anyone with information relating drug dealers and the peddling of non-prescriptive and prescriptive drugs to contact police on the 101 non-emergency number.
