SPECIAL Olympics athletes Kaden (6) and his sister Ana-Lucia James (6), are calling upon the public to support the charity’s annual Collection Day tomorrow, Friday April 22.

Over 400 volunteers will be out in force across Ulster with a single aim: to raise £70,000 in just 24 hours to support local athletes across Northern Ireland.

Special Olympics supports 2,043 registered athletes who participate in 15 sports in 72 clubs across Ulster.

And the funds raised from their biggest annual fundraising event will go towards developing the sports, competitions and health programmes available to all Special Olympics Ulster athletes.
