DETECTIVES are appealing for information following an armed robbery in south Belfast this morning.

Three men carrying knives tied up two members of staff during an armed robbery at a shop on the Boucher Road.

Police say the robbery took place at around 7 am.

It is believed the men were also carrying a gun.

A white van was spotted fleeing the scene towards Boucher Crescent.

The staff members were left badly shaken but suffered no physical injuries.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact detectives at the Reactive and Organised Crime Branch on the 101 number.
