POLICE investigating public disorder by republicans in North Lurgan on March 28 have charged three men.

A 21 year old man has been charged with affray, possession of an offensive weapon and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

He was due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court today, Friday, April 15.

A 44 year old man has been charged with affray and obstruction.

He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on May 11.

A 46 year old man has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, obstructing police and affray to appear.

He will also appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on 11 May.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
