DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigatin Team have charged a 36-year-old man with the murder of nurse Laura Marshall at the weekend.
The 31-year-old’s body was found in a flat in Victoria Street on Sunday night in an apartment.
The man is to face Craigavon Magistrates’ Court later today for a first remand hearing.
The police initially said Ms Marshall’s death was being treated as suspicious.
But detectives later launched a murder inquiry following the results of a post mortem examination.
They were granted two periods of extra detention to question the suspect before deciding to charge him with Laura’s murder.
