DETECTIVES are investigating the vicious assault of a man in his 30s.

The attack happened at a house in Townhead Street in Ballymoney on the last night, Sunday, March 20.

The man was assaulted by up to three masked males, reportedly carrying weapons, who entered the house sometime between 9.30 and 10pm.

He is currently in hospital being treated for injuries to his head, arms and legs.
