DETECTIVES are investigating the sudden death of a woman in her 30s in Belfast city centre.

The PSNI and crime scene investigators have cordoned off a shop doorway at the corner of Donegall Place and Castle Lane.

Police say a crime is not suspected at this stage.

A post mortem is to be carried out to determine how the woman died.

She is the fifth homeless person to die this year.
