POLICE have charged a 17-year-old boy after a flare that was let off at yesterday’s Irish Premiership football match between Linfield and Glentoran at Windsor Park.
He was charged with possession of a flare at a regulated football match.
The teenager is to face Belfast Youth Court on Wednesday, April 6 for a first remand hearing.
A 19-year-old man who was also arrested at the same time on suspicion of the same offence was released unconditionally.
