Loyalist lover Robert Benson Young has been moved to the prison’s isolation unit until further notice.

According BBC reporter Gordon Adair, detectives were called in after a covert intelligence operation by the prison authorities.
They feared the pair had formed an “inappropriate relationship”, said reporter Adair.

She is now facing a charge of gross misconduct in public office.
Robert Benson Young was jailed in 2005 for the murder of Red Hand Commando north Down Brigadier and wealthy drug dealer Jim Johnston outside his home at Crawfordsburn.
Young and an accomplice – who was never caught but believed to have been a police agent – walked from Helen’s Bay to Johnston’s home before shooting him dead.
A follow-up police operation snared Young when his blood was found on barbed wire after he fled the murder scene,
Young was jailed for life with a minimum tariff of 22 years without parole.
He will be in his early 60s before he is eligible to apply for parole.
The Department of Justice said in a statement this evening: “NI Prison Service can confirm that a member of staff has been suspended following an internal investigation.
“This is now a matter for the PSNI and it would be inappropriate to comment further.”
