POLICE are investigating an indecent assault on a teenage school girl.
The PSNI say the 13-year-old was attacked in an alleyway close to the scout hall on Thomas Russell Park in Downpatrick.
The attack is believed to have happened as dusk fell around 5.10 pm on Tuesday evening.
A police spokesperson said: “The attackers are described as being dressed all in black.
“The victim was dressed in her school uniform and ran off in the direction of the bus station across Dunleith Park after fighting her attackers off.
“We are particularly interested in speaking with a female dog walker who was in the area immediately prior to the attack happening.
“If you were in the area or have any information in relation to it please call us on 101.
