DETECTIVES in Belfast have charged an 18-year-old man with hijacking and aggravated vehicle taking.

He is due to face Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 8 for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

It is understood the charges are in relation to a hijacking incident at Dunbar Link in Belfast on Saturday, November 8, 2014.
