DETECTIVES have charged two teenagers over an incident in west Belfast in which a car smashed two police vehicles.
Four police officers were injured in the incident around midnight on Friday.
The car had been stolen during a creeper burglary two hours earlier at Bladen Drive in south Belfast.
The teens were later arrested by police officers on foot with the aid of the PSNI helicopter.
A man, aged 19, and a boy, aged 16, have been charged with six counts of aggravated vehicle taking.
They are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The 19-year-old man has also been charged with driving while disqualified and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
