DETECTIVES have seized around 17,000 suspected Diazepam tablets during the planned search of a house in west Belfast.

A 33-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were arrested during the raid on the property at Amcomri Street last night.

The man was later released unconditionally, while the woman remains in police custody.

A small amount of Class B drugs and a quantity of cash were also recovered from the house.

A follow-up search was carried out in the Dunmurry area.
