DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit have arrested three men over dissident republican activity.

A 44-year-old man was arrested in Pomeroy, a 37-year-old man was arrested in Toomebridge and a 38-year-old man was arrested in the Lisburn area.

All were detained under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act.

They are being interviewed at the serious crime suite at Musgrave PSNI station.

The trio can be held for up to 48 hours before they are either charged or released.
