COCAINE, STUN GUN AND FIREARM SEIZED IN EAST BELFAST

Police securityppicDETECTIVES have seized a stun gun, a blank firing pistol and Class A drugs during a planned search of a house in east Belfast.

Blank ammunition and suspected cocaine worth £4,500 were also found during the search in Bryson Street on Friday.

A 22-year-old man was arrested under the Firearms (NI) Order 2004 for having a banned stun gun weapon without the permission of the Secretary of State.

The suspect was taken to the PACE suite at Musgrave PSNI station for questioning.

He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
