MEN TO FACE COURT CHARGED OVER THREATS TO KILL LINKED TO WEST BELFAST MURDER BID

police crime scene pic 1TWO men have been charged with making threats to kill.

The charges are in connection with a murder bid in west Belfast on traveller Martin Gavin on Thursday in west Belfast.

Mr Gavin, who is in his 40s,  was shot in the head while he was sitting in a car in Rossnareen Avenue.

He remains critically ill.

The men who have been charged are aged 18 and 50.

They are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning.
