MAN RELEASED OVER NORTH BELFAST MURDER BID

police crime scene pic 1DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team have released unconditionally a man arrested for attempted murder.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the upper body during a gun attack at Cranbrook Gardens in the Ardoyne are on Friday evening.

Later that night, a 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

He was taken to the serious crime suite at Musgrave PSNI station for questioning.

Police now say the man has been released unconditionally without charge.

During the follow up police operation, a car was also seized and has been taken away for further examination.
