POLICE are appealing for information after a male was found unconscious.

His body was found at 5.20 am this morning on the Shore Road area of Greenisland close to Seapark.

A spokesperson said: “This male was taken to hospital but has not yet regained consciousness.

“He was last seen in Carrickfergus around midnight.

“Anyone who would have any information that would assist or who saw a male walking in the Shore Road area in the early hours of this morning is asked to contact police on the non-emergency 101 number.”
